I don’t know, but I doubt it is the same. I’m just thinking of upgrading from Fairphone 3+ to Fairphone 4 myself because the FP3 is too slow to handle Android car-which I use a lot. And even the FP3+ cameras are mediocre for all their megapixels.

Thanks for your blog, all very timely as I am looking to change my iPhone 6 now. I wonder if the ‘upgrade camera+’ is the same on the new fairphone 4? I hate feeling tied to Apple, especially since it recently broke into $3trillion valuation….

Still using it. I also bought the camera+ upgrade, but I was a bit disappointed. They promise 50MP images, but my photos are very grainy and noisy.
